We announced #GiveHealthy just a short week ago and there’s already lots to report! We’re thrilled to have two new Advisory Board members. Dr, David Katz, M.D., (and so much more) brings a lifestyle medicine perspective to the Board. David is the founder of the True Health Initiative (among many other things), which is now an official #GiveHealthy partner. Elyse Cohen, MPH has also joined the Board. Elyse currently serves as the Senior Director, Health & Wellness Programs, US Chamber of Commerce Foundation and as the Executive Director of the Health Means Business Campaign. She’s the former Deputy Director of Let’s Move, working in the Office of the First Lady.
We also welcomed the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education and Policy at Teacher’s College, Columbia University as a #GiveHealthy education partner. That’s exciting news for all of us and we’re looking forward to the great contributions they will make to #GiveHealthy.
